HALLIWICK ROAD.

Rustic restaurant interior with wooden tables and chairs, glasses and plates set on the table, textured brown wall, and modern wall sconces.

2021

An Edwardian terrace in Muswell Hill has been extended and refurbished to create a comfortable, low-energy house. The original structure of the house was revealed, and its modest beauty celebrated.

Energy requirements are dramatically reduced by insulating, triple-glazing, and improving airtightness. New additions include a rear extension and a loft conversion.

Design features include timber structure and insulated SIP panels and masonry nibs walls were retained where possible to avoid the use of steel box frames.
