Terms + Conditions

 

I. Pricing

  • All prices stated Pixity online store are in Sterling Pounds and include VAT where this is applicable. Where VAT is applicable it is at the standard rate of 20% and only valid on stated brand new products. All used products are sold via the VAT margin scheme thus, there is no VAT applicable to be recovered.

  • All prices are exclusive of local taxes, import duties and clearances which might be applicable, Pixity holds no liability for such charges if applicable.

  • In the rare event the price advertised online being incorrect Pixity reserves the right to not honour the advertised price.

II. Ordering

  • Items can only be purchased online. When completing the purchase please include full contact details and correct delivery address with the purchase. We aim to have all in-stock purchases placed before 4PM dispatched and sent out for delivery the same day.

  • Upon completion of your online purchase an order conformation and acknowledgement of the order will be received via email. This email is not a legal binding acceptance of your purchase. Pixity reserves the right to cancel your order at any period should we be unable to effectuate it or should we have alarms relating your registration data.

III. Payment

  • We accept payments for all products via PayPal which accepts a range of credit card and debit card payments, these include Visa®, MasterCard® and PayPal balance, bank account, PayPal co-branded debit card and PayPal credit.

  • Through engaging into the Agreement with Pixity you recognise that we may use personal details administered by yourself in the purchase process to carry-out any imperative fraud inquiries.

IV. Purchases and Trade-In’s

  • In the case of a Trade-In transaction, items will not be set aside or placed on hold until the transaction has been agreed and authorised.

  • A Trade-In transaction will be considered completed once: 1. requested full details, 2. confirmation correspondence via email from Pixity recognising our final acknowledgment of the transaction and 3. agreed date of the collection courier have been received and completed.

  • Pixity will not be held responsible for late or failed collections through the arranged courier collecting your items under any arising circumstances.

  • In the event that the arranged courier cannot collect your items due to a lapse by the courier firm or by Pixity, an alternative collection date will be provided free of charge.

  • In the event that the courier service provider is not able to collect the items due to no response from the address provided, inaccurate details or any other reason which may be deemed as a result of the sellers (you) liability, an additional charge of £15 will be imposed to have a resceduled collection organised.

  • Through entering into any Purchase or Trade-In of items with Pixity, you automatically concur to abide by our terms and conditions of purchase.

  • Prior to entering into a Purchase or Trade-In the seller (you) MUST be the full and legal owner of all the items offered with no outstanding finance or payments remaining of the items.

  • With all Selling or Trade-In transactions the seller (you) is accountable for guaranteeing that all items offered for sale has been imported into the United Kingdom legally. Pixity will reserve the right to decline purchase on any items purchased from outside the United Kingdom. In the case that the seller (you) is the first owner of the items offered, proof of purchase including VAT amount may be required. Where the seller (you) are not the first owner of the items offered additional information may be called upon and Pixity reserves the right for accepting or declining the transaction. Where the seller (you) is the first owner of the equipment, a VAT receipt may be required as proof of purchase. Where the seller (you) is the second owner of the equipment further information may be requested and acceptance of the transaction is at the discretion of Pixity. 

  • You the seller must be of minimum age 16 years old; in the case that you the seller are under the minimum age and intend to sell or trade in your gear consent must be obtained for the estimate provided by Pixity from the parent’s or guardian’s of the seller. In the situation where a seller under the minimum age and consent has not been obtained Pixity will not be held liable to any claims when breaching these terms.

  • Throughout the transaction procedure Pixity will retain the full rights to refuse, revise or cancel an estimate provided for equipment offered to Sell or Trade-in. 

  • Upon receiving the items offered for selling or trade-in and checking your items, payment will be made as the quoted in the estimate provided to the seller (you). Once payment has been made / completion of the transaction the ownership of the equipment instantly and irreversibly moves to Pixity. In the situation of a Trade-In transaction you the seller’s 14-day return period will not be affected and returns can be made within that period for full refund to consist of cash value placed on the items originally estimated in the Trade-In transaction. Under no conditions will Pixity be able to return the original items sold / traded-in to Pixity once ownership has been transferred over / transaction finalised.     

  • Estimates provided are subject to checking the items against the condition and information provided by the seller (you) to Pixity and will only be valid for a period of 7-days from the date the estimate are issued. Pixity will retain the right to revise the estimate during any stage of the transaction up until the point of payment at which stage ownership transfers over from the seller (you) to Pixity. 

  • Where revisions are applicable to the original estimate provided for the items on offer by Pixity, the seller (you) will be notified with a revised estimate and have the right to withdraw from the transaction and request the items being returned up until the point of payment.  

  • Pixity reserve the right to cancel or without the original estimate for amendment of the quoted estimate for any reason inclusive of, but not limited to: 

    • If there are discrepancy between the age, usage or exact model of the items from that quoted

    • If there are signs of looming failure or items faulty in anyway 

    • If there are discrepancy between the description provided and the actual items

    • If there are any missing items such as batteries, chargers or any other items which may be considered a necessity

    • If items offered display signs of extreme usage not previously underlined

    • If items on offer display signs of impact or other damage

    • If items on offer demonstrate rudiments of inner fungal development or dampness

    • If items are not declared as none UK stock

    • If there are any indications of the items being ‘non-genuine’ in any way 

  • Each item that you sell to us should match the make and model and condition that you describe when the quote is submitted. When we assess your items we will use the Condition Specifications given below, which correspond to the rating suggested in our initial quotations.

  • All items that the seller (you) intend to sell to Pixity should match the brand, model and condition stated in the description submitted to Pixity when attaining the estimated quote. Pixity will grade your items based on the condition grading below, which should resemble the rating stated by the seller (you) when submitting form to attain initial estimate.     

Condition Grading:

  • Like New:

-     Aesthetically appears brand new, such as no cosmetic signs of wear, tear and usage  

-     No marks on the shell, sensor, glass, buttons and screen(s) all in immaculate condition

-     No scuffs, marks or scratches

-     Perfect working order like new with no faults  

-    For cameras for which shutter accusations can be determined, the actuation could must be no higher than 10,000.

  •  Excellent

-     Aesthetically appears close to new, such as negligible signs of cosmetic usage

-     No marks on the shell, sensor, glass, buttons and screen(s) all in immaculate condition

-     No compelling scruffs, marks or scratches 

-     Perfect working order like new with no faults

-    For cameras for which shutter accusations can be determined, the actuation could must be no higher than 30,000.

  • Good

-     Aesthetically in good condition, may have inconsequential signs of cosmetic usage such as negligible marks to specific areas

-     Overall generally good condition to the casings, sensor, glass, buttons and screen(s)

-     No compelling blemishes / scuffs or damage

-     Perfect working order with no faults

-    For cameras for which shutter accusations can be determined, the actuation could must be no higher than 80,000.

 

  • Well Used

-     Aesthetically appears to be notably used, may have obvious signs of cosmetic usage such as marks, blemishes or scuffs

-     All casings, sensor, glass, buttons and screen(s) working without fault

-     Perfect working order with no faults

-     For cameras for which shutter accusations can be determined, the actuation could must be no higher than 150,000.

 

  • Heavily Used

-     Aesthetically appears to be noticeable signs of item being heavily used, may have serious cosmetic usage such as marks, blemishes or scuffs

-     Item is fully working with no faults

-     Glass / sensor are free of any marks

-     For cameras for which shutter accusations can be determined, if the actuation is deemed to be higher than 150,000.

 

  • Faulty

-     Any fault whatsoever resulting in item not fully working

-     For lenses any specs of internal fungus / dust or damage to glass elements

-     For cameras any damage to sensors

  • If the items, the seller (you) wishes to sell does not meet our grading standards or an amendment in grading is required, Pixity will get in touch with you via email with a revised estimation based on the latest grading appraisal for the item(s) you have sent to Pixity. The seller (you) will be granted the opportunity to accept or decline the revised estimate in the email. If the seller (you) decide to not accept the revised appraisal, the item(s) will be returned to the seller (you) free of charge.    

  • If the seller (you) decide to accepted the revised appraisal, the new settled quoted estimate between you and Pixity for the item(s) will replace any previous superseded estimate. Upon acceptance of the latest appraisal value via email communication the transaction will be considered settled and no additional negotiation or withdrawal can occur.  

  • Rough guide to the typical timescale for completion of each process involved with the transaction:

    • Delivery of item(s) to Pixity through the provided courier service typically 1-2 working days following collection, dismissing those sent during national holiday period / remote localities. 

    • Typically, item(s) shall be inspected through our appraisal process as promptly as achievable be which is normally between 2-3 working days. 

    • Upon verification that the items are as described payments will be made directly to the provided verified bank details to the seller (you) within 2 working days. Please note that funds clearing into seller’s (your) account can vary subject to which administration are managing the account. 

  • Pixity will communicate directly with the seller (you) throughout the process and updating the seller (you) with the status and development of the transaction. Pixity cannot be held responsible for any delays which can occur due to courier services or funds clearing into the seller’s (your) bank account. 

  • Through engaging into a Trade-In or Purchase with Pixity, you approve to obey the terms and conditions of our Courier Service as defined beneath. 

  • The figure(s) cited by Pixity for the item(s) is the full sum offered on the seller’s(your) kit. If the seller (you) are VAT registered and would like to conduct a transaction inclusive of VAT, announcement of this is compulsory at the commencement of the transaction procedure. The seller (you) is needed to deliver, at the point of sale, a sales statement stating the VAT amount charged.  

V. Delivery Information

  • All orders are dispatched via recorded delivery and would require signature upon delivery. Pixity will not be held responsible for any late delivery however it may be caused.  

  • If the delivery recipient (you) are not present at the address to take delivery of the parcel, the package will be returned to the courier’s local depot and instructions will be provided by the courier for methods of collections / redelivery.  

  • Pixity will not be held responsible for misplacement or damage to any portion of any package, even if the parcel content consists of one or more sections. Pixity will also not be held responsible for the misplacement or failure of delivery to any segments of the parcel, or for the damage, setbacks or discharge of the parcel or parts of the parcel. Pixity must be notified in the event of any damage, setbacks, mis-delivery or failure of delivery within 10 days from the date the items are shipped.   

VI. Returns Policy

  • You have 14-days from the shipping date to return your items, if you decide to cancel your order or if you deemed the items not as described by Pixity. To proceed with your return / cancelation email us on afasfdsfsd@pixity.com stating your name, order number and reason for return. 

  • Prior to returning the item(s) received, approval must be attained subsequent to email communication with Pixity notifying us with the return. 

  • Pixity will cover the return postage charges if the return is deemed as an error from Pixity’s behalf where the item(s) have been described mistakenly or any other error from Pixity’s behalf. In the event that the item(s) are returned for any other reason the buyer (you) are responsible to cover the costs for the return delivery. All return deliveries must be returned via an insured and trackable delivery service where the item(s) are insured to the value of the content within the parcel.  

  • Returned item(s) must be returned in the exact condition as the original point of sale with all the content included. Pixity will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of returned item(s). 

  • In the event that Pixity determines no replacement can be offered for any returned item(s), Pixity reserves the right to issue a full refund.   

  • Item(s) purchased on Sale at a reduced price when returned will only be entitled for a refund and will not be qualify for a like-for-like exchange. 

  • The succeeding omissions apply to the return of Drones:

  • Any drone crashed when in ATTI mode automatically voids the warranty.

  • Drones crashed or with fire damage as a result of non-manufacturing issues, comprising but not only limited to, pilot faults. 

  • Unauthorised modifications, disassembly, or opening of drone shells/ remote controls not in abeyance with manufactures certified instructions or guides. 

  • Any damage resulted by incorrect installation, use, or functioning not in abeyance with certified instructions or guides.  

  • Any damage as a result of non-authorised service supplier.
